01 Day: Arrival Delhi

Welcome and assistance on arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and transfer to the pre-booked hotel by aircon car. After check in, travel document related to the tour plan and services will be handed over to you; our representative will explain all your queries about the entire tour plan. Later in the evening visit to see Light and Sound Show at Red fort. The show exhibits wonderful history of the city in a very interesting way. Afterwards return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Light and Sound Show: A spectacular show at the Red Fort. Which makes the 5,000 years old history of the city come alive. Amidst the harmony of the splendidly panoramic and historic environs of the Red Fort, select episodes from the annals of Delhi's historic and majestic past are vibrantly brought to life. Special effects combine with the exceptional character to make this show an impressively memorable experience.

02 Day: Delhi

After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi: the majestic Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, Jama Masjid, the largest and most splendid mosque in India, Rajghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, where he was cremated. The sightseeing continues to explore New Delhi including President House, India gate; built to honour and pay a tribute to the Indian soldiers who sacrificed themselves during the Afghan war, Birla Mandir (Laxmi Narayan Temple), Humayun’s Tomb, lotus shaped Bhai’s Temple, Qutub Minar; built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty. Sri Radha Parthasarathi Mandir, generally known as the ISKCON Delhi temple. In the evening you can opt for a cycle rickshaw ride through the lively and colourful market of Chandani Chowk. Afterwards return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Delhi, the towering capital city of the independent and largest democratic country in the world: India. Delhi is located and sprawled on both banks of Yamuna River. The city is enriched with culture, architecture and human diversity, Delhi city is a blend of the ancient past of India with the vibration of the modern world. The city designed by the British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869-1944) & is tree-lined & spacious. Legend has it that the Pandavas of epic Mahabharata, the august heroes, founded Delhi around 1200 BC & the name of the city was Indraprastha.

03 Day: Delhi – Haridwar (220 kms: 5 hrs)

After breakfast check out the hotel and drive to Haridwar, on arrival transfer to the hotel. After relaxation, in the evening attend the most speculative “Aarti” at the holy River Ganga. Aarti takes place on the ghat in the evening, after sunset. A group of Brahmans hold huge fire bowls in their hands and offer their holy mantras to river Ganges, Shiva - the Hindu God of destruction, Surya - the Sun God and the entire Universe. The devotees then offer flowers and earthen lamps - diyas - to river Ganges, in order to pay due regards to their ancestors in heaven. The scenario at Har- Ki-Pauri at the time of Ganga-Aarti is mesmerizing. Afterwards return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Haridwar, 'The gateway to the Gods'. "This place is very beautiful", at one site one will say so and fall in love with the scenic beauty of the blend of height and plains. In its long history back to pre-historic time, the Haridwar got its name from the rishis. According to the mythology it is known as Kapilsthan, legend goes that the suryavnshi Prince Bhagirath performed penance here to salvage the souls of his ancestors who had perished due to the curse of the sage Kapila. The penance was answered and the river Ganga trickled forth from Lord Shiva's locks and its bountiful waters revived the sixty thousand sons of King Sagara. Mythologically, drops of nectar churned out from the primordial ocean fell at the four sites of the Kumbh mela including Haridwar. The kumbha mela, happening once every 12 years and the Ardha Kumbha Mela (Coming once every six years) are big draws.

04 Day: Haridwar – Rishikesh – Haridwar (22 kms: 30 mins: One way)

Today morning after breakfast take a religious and spiritual sightseeing tour of Haridwar and Rishikesh, visiting Daksh Mahadev temple - also known as Shri Daksheshwar temple, attributed to King Daksha who was brought back to life by Lord Shiva, Gorakhnath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple - is the representation of India in the form of a mother goddess, Mansa Devi Temple, one of the most popular and most visited temples of Haridwar, later take an excursion to Rishikesh, may visit the various temples and Ashrams: Bharat temple - temple has been named after Lord Ram’s second brother ‘Bharat’; however the presiding deity of this temple is Lord Vishnu, Shatrughan Temple - an ancient temple dedicated to Shatrughan, the youngest brother of Lord Rama, Laxman Jhoola, Rishikund and Raghunath Temple - legendary tank where Lord Rama took bath is a popular bathing spot for pilgrims, Swarg Ashram Gita Bhawan Parmath Niketan, Jhoola Triveni Ghat, Shivanand Ashram Kailash Ashram academy of Meditation. After visit drive back to Haridwar. Overnight at the hotel.

Rishikesh, also known as the 'place of sages' is Haridwar, at the confluence of the Chandrabhaga and Ganga. It is believed that God by the name of 'Hrishikesh' had appeared as answer to the hard penances by Rabhiya Rishi and henceforth the place derived its name. It is most ideal destinations for meditation, yoga and other aspects of Hinduism. For the adventure seekers, Rishikesh is the suggested place for starting their trekking expeditions to the Himalayan peaks and for rafting. Also, International Yoga Week, which attracts participation from across the world, is held here, every year, in February on the banks of the Ganga. The Yoga Centers of Rishikesh have enhanced the significance of the place.

05 Day: Haridwar – Nainital (230 kms: 6 hrs)

After a healthy breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Nainital, dive to Nainital enjoying the scenic beauty. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Rest of your day is free for relaxation and individual activities. Evening spend time at the famous mall road for shopping. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Nainital, a hilly town in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, the headquarters of Nainital district lies in the Kumaon foothills of the outer Himalayas. Located at an altitude of 1,938 metres (6,358 feet) above sea level, Nainital lies down in a valley which has a pear-shaped lake, approximately two miles in circumference, and surrounded by mountains, of which the highest are Naina (2,615 m (8,579 ft)) on the north, Deopatha (2,438 m (7,999 ft)) on the west, and Ayarpatha (2,278 m (7,474 ft)) on the south. From the top of the higher peaks a magnificent view can be obtained of the vast plain to the south, or of the mass of tangled ridges lying in the north, encircled by enormous snowy range which forms the central axis of the Himalayas.

06 Day: Nainital

Today morning after breakfast, visit Naina Devi temple, located on the northern shores of Naini Lake, the divinity of the temple is ‘Maa Naina Devi’ represented by two eyes. Naini Lake, a beautiful tranquil 2 mile long pear-shaped lake, enjoy boat a ride in the Naini Lake. Climb another 800 feet by rope-way to reach breathtaking Snow View Point. Early evening visit Nainital High Altitude Zoo which offers a safe and secure habitat to many high altitude animals. Some of the animals that can be speckled here are Himalayan Black Bear, Barking Deer, Silver Pheasants, Snow Leopard, Siberian Tiger, Rose ringed Parakeet, Palm Civet Cat, Sambhar Deer, Wolf, Hill Fox, Ghoral, Owl, Eagle and many rare Himalayan birds. Hanuman Garh, this is a well known Lord Hanuman’s Hindu Temple hovering at the altitude of about 6,401 ft from sea level and a premeditated location that offers the artistic scenery of sunset. Enjoy the sunset and drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

07 Day: Nainital – Ranikhet – Nainital (Excursion 60 kms: 2 hrs)

After breakfast, take esxcursion to Ranikhet (6,035 feet above the sea level), visit Kumaon Regimental Museum, a symbol of bravery and sacrifice made by soldiers of the place; Kalika Mata Temple; Golf Ground. Dwarahat, a historical village situated at 38 km from the town of Ranikhet, this place was also the capital of the Katyuri Kingdom as well as a power centre for the Katyuri rulers in the 16th century. Its main attraction includes ancient temples like Badnirath, Maniyan, Mrityunjaya, Dhwaj and Kachri Devtas. Majkhali, known for the towering view of the Himalayas as it is close to the base of the mountain range. A view of the majestic, 26500 ft high Mount Trishul takes one’s breath away. Followed by visit to Bhimtal & Naukuchiatal. Evening is free to roam around mall road. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

08 Day: Nainital – Corbett (70 kms: 3 hrs)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Corbett. This is the most popular destination, because of its superb location and sheer abundance of flora fauna. This unique tiger territory is best known as the father who gave birth of the Project Tiger in India to protect the most endangered species and the Royal of India called Tigers. On arrival, transfer to the jungle resort. Rest of the evening is free for leisure, if time permits; you can take jungle safari or walk through the forest. Dinner and overnight at the jungle resort.

Corbett National Park: Located in the foothills of the Himalayas is the majestic Corbett National Park. Home to a variety of flora and fauna, it is famous for its wild population of Leopards. India's first national park and the first sanctuary to come under Project Tiger, Corbett supports a variety of vegetation making it the ideal habitat for the Tiger and its prey. Once a popular hunting ground of the British, this 201 square mile park was named in honor of the late Jim Corbett, the legendary hunter-naturalist turned author and photographer who most of his years in this area and contributed in setting up the this park.

09 Day: Corbett

Early morning you go for Jeep Safari at Jhirna Park. The Jhirna jeep safari zone is one of the most eye-catching spots inside the Jim Corbett National Park, the Jhirna jeep safari region is an exciting zone which gives tourists some of the fascinating views of nature and wildlife. Afterwards return to the hotel for breakfast. After rest and relaxation go for jeep safari to the Bijrani area of Corbett to find the Elusive Tiger - now the cynosure of the questing eye. While your jeep passes through the deep jungle there is a strong probability to spot the Royal Bengal Tiger roaming around. Keep your cameras at the ready and capture the rare images of tigers and various other wildlife species while they are resting in their habitats. The Corbett Park with its varied topography, diverse Flora & Fauna, the beauty of the rivulets, the natural splendor of its landscapes. Afterwards return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

10 Day: Corbett – Dehradun – Mussoorie (195 kms: 5 hrs)

Early morning you can again opt for Elephant Safari inside the park. After breakfast, check out the resort and proceed to Mussoorie (6,580 ft. above the sea level). En route you may take a halt at Dehradun visiting Durbar Shri Guru Ram Rai - Sikh pilgrimage site, Tapkeshwar Temple - temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Sahasra Dhara - this place is famous for the hot springs, Malsi Deer Park - this refuge for deer is a beautiful forest and is very popular as a picnic spot, Tapovan – situated on the banks of sacred Ganga, it is said that this is the place where the great Guru Dronacharya in the epic Mahabharata went through penance and also had his ashram. On arrival transfer to the hotel. In the evening you can take a walk on the mall road, dinner and overnight at the hotel in Mussoorie.

Dehradun is the capital of Uttarkhand and this is one of the fastest growing cities of India. The city has some very beautiful buildings that are famous for their historical, political and architectural values. There are some great temples in Dehradun which are really beautiful and according to the popular idioms these temples are auspicious. There are parks in Dehradun which are very well maintained and beautifully. The historical monuments and clock tower are also famous tourist spots of Dehradun.

Mussoorie is a city and a municipal board, about 34 km from Dehradun and in Dehradun district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. This hill station, situated in the foothills of the Himalaya ranges, is also known as the Queen of the Hills. The adjoining town of Landour, which includes a military cantonment, is considered part of 'greater Mussoorie', as are the townships of Barlowganj and Jharipani. Being at an average altitude of 2,000 meters (6,600 ft), Mussoorie, with its green hills and varied flora and fauna, is a fascinating hill resort.

11 Day: Mussoorie

After breakfast, the day will be spent doing local sightseeing in and around Mussoorie visiting: Kempty Falls, situated at an altitude of 4,500 ft, it is a beautiful waterfall, which falls from a height of about 40 ft from a mountain, Municipal Garden: also known as Company Baugh, is situated in the Happy Valley area of this beautiful town, Gun Hill: At a height of 2122 m, this is the second highest peak of the town. During the colonial era, a gun was placed atop the hill and fired exactly at mid-day to announce the time. Thus, the place derived its name as 'Gun Hill'. you may also opt for cable car ride at the Gun Hills for a beautiful view of the Dun valley, Camel's Back: The road borrows its name from a large rock here that looks like a camel's back. Jwalaji Temple: 9 kms from the town, dedicated to Goddess 'Durga', this temple is situated atop the Benog Hill, at a height of 2100 m. Enveloped by thick forests from all sides. Lal Tibba: a scenic 5 km uphill walk from Picture Palace to the highest point in Mussoorie. Afterwards return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

12 Day: Mussoorie – Delhi (300 kms: 7 hrs)

After an early breakfast, checkout from the hotels and drive to Delhi, on arrival transfer to the hotel. Day is free for leausire and, or if time permits go for shopping: Delhi is one of the most popular for shopping, here you can do the shopping for anything you need for your collections, decoration, food, beauty product, textile, wooden, silver, bronze art, Jewellery: the famous markets are Central Cottage Industries Emporium, Khadi Gramodyog Bhavan, Khan Market, Old Delhi Market, Chandani Chowk, Spice Market (Khari Baoli), Delhi Hat and so many other, while doing the shopping you should visit to the genuine and reputed shops. For other general shops be quite smart enough to justify the prices and product offered to you. Overnight at the hotel.

13 Day: Delhi – Hometown (By Air)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight for Hometown, on departure the tour concludes with happy memories.
