01 Day

Arrival Thiruvananthapuram - Kovalam

Approx. 20 kms: ½ hr

Welcome to Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, Thiruvananthapuram, where our representative will assist you and transfer you by air-conditioned car to the pre-booked resort at Kovalam. En route, take a short city tour of Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala and historic seat of the Travancore kingdom. If time permits, visit the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu reclining on Anantha. Continue to Kovalam and check in at the resort. The evening is free to relax by the beach. Overnight stay at the resort.

02 Day

Kovalam

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed day at Kovalam, a coastal resort known for its three crescent-shaped beaches, coconut palms and sheltered shoreline. Spend time at Lighthouse Beach and the surrounding waterfront, with optional activities such as surfing, kayaking and other locally operated water sports, subject to sea conditions. You may also experience a traditional Ayurvedic treatment at a reputable resort or centre. The remainder of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at the resort.

03 Day

Kovalam - Kanyakumari

Approx. 85 kms: 2 - 3 hrs

After breakfast, check out from the resort and drive to Kanyakumari, located at the southern tip of the Indian peninsula. On arrival, check in at the hotel and later visit Kumari Amman Temple, dedicated to Goddess Kanyakumari, followed by Gandhi Mandapam. Take a boat ride to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, where Swami Vivekananda meditated in 1892, and see the Thiruvalluvar Statue offshore. In the evening, enjoy the coastal sunset, subject to weather conditions. Overnight stay at the hotel.

04 Day

Kanyakumari - Alleppey

Approx. 250 kms: 6 hrs

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. On arrival, board your traditional Kerala houseboat and begin cruising through the backwaters, passing palm-lined canals, paddy fields, villages and waterways that form one of Kerala's defining landscapes. Relax on the sun deck, observe local life along the banks and enjoy the changing scenery as the boat moves through the waterways. Dinner is prepared and served onboard by the crew. Overnight stay on the houseboat.

Note: Houseboat accommodation includes a private bedroom with attached bathroom, dining area, kitchen and sun deck. Air-conditioning is generally available during designated night hours.
05 Day

Alleppey - Periyar

Approx. 110 kms: 4 hrs

After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and drive to Periyar (Thekkady). On arrival, transfer to the jungle resort and later explore the Periyar Tiger Reserve. A boat cruise on Periyar Lake offers opportunities to see elephants, sambar, gaur, wild boar and waterbirds along the forested shoreline. Later visit a local spice plantation to learn about cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, coffee and other crops, followed by time at the local spice market. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.

Note: Periyar Lake boating is subject to ticket and seat availability. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
06 Day

Periyar - Munnar

Approx. 85 kms: 3 hrs

After breakfast, drive to Munnar, a hill station in the Western Ghats known for its extensive tea plantations and mountain scenery. The name Munnar refers to the meeting of three mountain streams: Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. On arrival, check in at the hotel and later visit a Tea Museum and Factory to learn about tea cultivation and processing in the region. The remainder of the evening is free to relax. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Note: The Tea Museum is closed on Mondays.
07 Day

Munnar

After breakfast, explore the surrounding landscapes of Munnar. Visit Pothamedu View Point for views across tea, coffee and spice plantations, followed by Mattupetty Dam and its reservoir. Continue to Echo Point and Kundala Lake, surrounded by tea-covered hills and forests. If time permits, visit Devikulam and explore the local tea and spice-growing areas. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

08 Day

Munnar - Cochin

Approx. 130 kms: 4 hrs

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Cochin. En route, stop at Cheeyappara Waterfalls, subject to seasonal flow and access conditions. Continue to historic Fort Kochi and visit St. Francis Church, one of India's oldest European-built churches, followed by the Paradesi Synagogue in Mattancherry and the nearby Jew Town. Explore the historic waterfront and see the Chinese fishing nets before attending a traditional Kathakali Dance performance, Kerala's distinctive classical theatre form known for elaborate costumes, expressive makeup and highly stylized gestures. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Note: The Paradesi Synagogue is currently open Sunday to Thursday and Friday mornings, with Saturday closed. Mattancherry Palace is closed on Fridays.
09 Day

Cochin - Hometown

By Air

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Cochin International Airport, Kochi for your scheduled flight onward. If time permits, the remaining hours can be used for last-minute shopping or exploring the local markets. The tour concludes with happy memories.

The final cost of a customized tour varies depending on accommodation choices, travel period, number of travellers and individual preferences. The following indicative price range is based on a minimum of two persons sharing a double room.
