Hotel Del' Orient opens its doors to discerning travellers as it captures the essence of coastal Pondicherry. Some marvellous architecture once arose on the French coastline of Pondichery. Today, one such mansion reopens, restored with furniture, art and comforts unknown to the 18th century. The Carte Blanche restaurant serves renowned Creole cuisine, where Tamil spices mix with French restraint, to take your taste buds on the route des Indes. The hotel also has a bar and conference facilities.

Accommodation:

The Hotel De L'Orient consists of 14 tastefully decorated rooms with all the modern amenities. All the rooms are fully air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms. Some of the rooms even have private verandas that overlook some picturesque locales.

Dining:

Hotel De L'Orient is famous for the Creole cuisine it serves (a delicate mix of Tamil and French cuisine). Fixed menus are offered at the per head rates of Rs. 150 for breakfast, Rs.350 for lunch and Rs. 350 for dinner. Bed tea, and evening tea are included in the room rent. However, there is no charge for children below 4 years and half rates apply for children below 10 years. Breakfast is served from 8 to 9:30 in the morning, lunch from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 8 to 10 p.m.

Conference and Business:

The hotel offers facilities for holding conferences and business meetings. Hotel De L'Orient also provides ample parking space for small vehicles and buses, which is an added advantage where corporate events are concerned.
